Efésios 4:16 nos diz que "o Corpo de Cristo bem ajustado, como um todo, promove em amor a edificação."

Por isso estamos  criando  um estudo bíblico em Português a fim de que  o idioma materno não seja  uma barreira para crescimento em Cristo e para a integração na comunidade Living Word.

In accordance with Ephesians 4:16, “as each part of the body does its own special work, helping other parts to grow, the whole body is healthy and full of love.” 

Therefore, we are establishing a Bible study group in Portuguese, so that language will not be a barrier for growing in Christ likeness and integration into the Living Word community.

A small group of men recognizing that we like Isaiah 6:5 are undone.  We stand before our Holy God and were it not for his mercy to purge the sin from us we are undone/silenced.  Our heart is to seek the Lord together asking for a humble teachable spirit as we carefully/expositorily study his word.  We gather (almost) every Tuesday night in Mountainside from 6:45 to 8:30.

If you are looking for a small group faith community to understand God's plan and purpose, look no further. Here we believe in the divinely inspired Scriptures as God's message for everyone. We aim to know the Living Word, through the Written Word, Verse x Verse.

We meet every Thursday at the church and doors open 6:30 PM.

Our pantry doors are open to the community for those in need of groceries. Each month, we receive food from the Community FoodBank in Hillside, allowing us to serve families with care and consistency.

We are open on the second Tuesday of every month from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

To all our Living Word Youth Parents: You need help! We hear you and we're here for you! Raising kids in this day and age is harder than ever. With the struggles our kids are facing in school, with friends, social media pressure, and the growing cultural divide, we need to support them by supporting each other and by bringing Jesus and a biblical perspective back to the next generation. Join us once a month for a chance to come together to collaborate, connect, and encourage each other. Drop the kids off at Youth and come across the parking lot for our own version of a parent and guardian support group. We'll have  resources,snacks, coffee, soda, and even coffee!

Fusion is a fun, music-driven fitness class for girls that combines pilates, barre, and strength training. In 50 minutes, you’ll build muscle, improve flexibility, and strengthen key areas like your core, glutes, and thighs — all with low-impact, form-focused movements using props like weights and resistance bands. Perfect for all levels!

This group is for Brothers in Christ who gather together to hoop and, sometimes, other recreational activities. Come out and join us if you want to get your cardio in. No experience required to start! Date, time and location TBD.

We'll meet on a semi-regular basis to play pickleball, no experience needed and all skill levels are welcome!

This 13-week class explores the spiritual practices that have shaped the Christian faith for centuries: prayer, fasting, meditation, simplicity, worship, and more, using Richard Foster’s The Celebration of Discipline as our guide.

These disciplines are not religious hoops to jump through or techniques for self-improvement. They are intentional practices that place us before God so He can do the transforming work only He can do. Together we’ll examine how these rhythms help us slow down, deepen our relationship with God, and live more attentively to His presence in everyday life.

This class is designed for anyone who desires a deeper, more grounded spiritual life, whether you’re new to spiritual practices or looking to rediscover them with fresh clarity and grace.

During this season, our Sunday morning class (9:00 AM) will be a few weeks worth introduction to the four Gospels — Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each week we'll cover the basics of one of the Gospels, looking at their key themes, structure, and what makes each one unique. It's a great foundation for anyone wanting to understand the life of Jesus and the heart of the New Testament.
